Social Media Banning May BackfireBy Ric Wasley April 5, 2021What happens when you ban half of your potential customers from your business? They go somewhere else. That’s exactly what the Democrats and their media puppets have done to America. I doubt if there is any rational person, barring Democrats, (remember, I said “rational”) who is not painfully aware that the Democrat Party and their propaganda arms in the ‘news’ (their PR Dept.), entertainment, sports, and social media platforms are run by and for, only Democrats. It has also never been more starkly apparent that not only do they operate as partisan shills for the increasingly strident, violent, and militant wings of the Democrats' anti-American parties, but they have expanded their roles to include actively trying to destroy every vestige of freedom and especially free speech. After all, if you are going to reduce your proletariate population to masses of mindless dependent sheep, you can’t afford to have any truth leaking out to undermine your message of total obedience and submission. Thus the Dems have sent their surrogates in social media out to de-platform any person, group, or organization that dares to speak their mind and tell the truth. Facebook, Twitter, Google, and YouTube are just a few of the latest examples. No doubt the Dems and their media lackeys feel smugly satisfied in congratulating themselves that they have faithfully followed in the footsteps of their models in Russia, China, and those masters of propaganda and censorship, in Nazi Germany in the 1930s. The only problem is that in their overweening arrogance they have forgotten that they haven’t managed to transform our country into their totalitarian ideal - yet. And until they do, there is still that little thing we have here called capitalism (they are busily trying to eliminate that too but that’s a topic for another day) and the free market. Suffice to say that while we still have it, we should make good use of it and some of us are. Not only has Trump mentioned that he is looking into a social media platform but MyPillow’s Mike Lindell (1) is too. "The forthcoming social media (2) website will be able to handle more than a billion users, Lindell said this week. I believe it will handle upwards of a billion. If it doesn’t, we will get to that capacity.” (3) He has also been forewarned of the bag of dirty tricks the Dems have used in the past to try to silence conservatives and has taken that into account. “It’s going to be the safest, secure platform. I built it expecting to be attacked.” The platform, dubbed Frank, has a landing page (4) but is not operational yet. Lindell told The Epoch Times’ affiliate NTD on March 11 that the website would be up and running within two weeks. Frank is described as a mix of YouTube and Twitter. The new platform will be a place for others who were kicked off sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter to congregate. “They’re going to have a safe place. You won’t have to walk on eggshells anymore,” Lindell said. (5) So what does all this mean for our beleaguered freedom of speech and the Democrat media cabal's attempt to silence us? Just this. In their glee over the prospect of dismantling American freedoms, the Democrat party elites have contemptuously ignored the fact that more than half of the country did not vote for their phony candidates and stand utterly opposed to the destruction of the best and freest country on earth. Their mistake, born out of arrogance, is that they think that by banning the half of America that still stands for Liberty they will silence us. They don’t realize that Americans, while always decent and trusting, once they discover they have been lied to and disrespected, are a very resourceful people. Rather than slinking quietly away because we’ve been banned from Democrat social media, we will create our own. Thus the Facebook's, Twitters, You-Tubes, and Googles - even though they are too smug to foresee it - are sowing the seeds of their own destruction. Just like their left-wing press corp; WP, NYT, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, ABC, et al… now battle it out for an increasingly smaller piece of the left-wing, Anti-American pie. While at the same time the 'for-the-moment' social media giants have flipped half of America the bird and told them, “you’re not welcome here.” Well, we have heard you Democrats and your media lapdogs, and guess what? We’re really not too thrilled with you either. And we’re tired of your Anti-Americanism, Cancel Culture, bigotry, intimidation, and mindless conformity. We will go our own way with our own social media platforms and media outlets - and ours will be better- you know why? Because freedom trumps tyranny any day.
