Cuba - The Great Socialist State

Being a ‘mean little kid’ in Hialeah, Florida, when Fidel Castro took over Cuba, we watched the refugees that came in by plane and by anything that might float. Families and partial families came in with just the clothes on their backs, getting out one step ahead of Castro's goons. Fidel Castro and his executioner buddy, Che Guevarra, made everyone equal - by taking everything the people had, and in many cases that included their lives. It has been over 60 years ago, and Cuba is now just like all the other countries that tried Socialism - a failed state, with the people buried in poverty with little hope. Everyone is equal, the Socialists have taken everything.
