They call themselves Democratic Socialists, but there is no such thing. Democracy and Socialism are polar opposites, and you are either one or the other - you can't be both. In a democracy, you make your own choices; but under Socialism, the State will make your choices for you, whether you like it or not. A Democratic Socialist is a socialist pretending to be a Democrat. Their purpose is the destruction of all other political parties, leaving the Socialists running a single-party government like they have in California.
