RI - Real IntelligenceBy Paul Hayden April 13, 2026I would ask for your prayers, as I am having a third heart ablation done this week on April 16, to try to deal with the persistent A-Fib that I have going on. It is not horrible, but it is a bit of a concern. Evidently I have a stubborn heart (ask my wife!), but the doctor seems hopeful that he can deal with it some more. I have continued to work, but just moving around leaves me a little short of breath, and there is the possibility of clots with irregular heart rhythms. It's a joy and a challenge to be getting old-er! Many don't get that chance! Thank you, and blessings! It seems we are living in times much like in the ancient world, when they built the Tower of Babel to reach to the heavens. The people thought they could accomplish anything, that they had conquered and won and ruled supreme. But they had not! Their civilization fell just as hard as others, who all, in various ways, thought that a demise could never happen to them. Yet they all found out. I keep seeing how successful this or that is in our current day. Now, it is AI that many hope will be an answer to so many problems. But will it? The “A” in AI is still “Artificial!" What we truly need is some, or a lot, of Real Intelligence, or RI! Lord, help us! Open our eyes to see the big picture, to see how and what You see in this world that You have created, but that we keep messing up! Jesus said, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” This is still true today. No matter how much you polish it and shine it and dress it up, IT IS STILL JUST FLESH, unless it is born of the Spirit. The passage from John chapter 3 has Jesus telling a leader of the Jews that one must be “born again” to see the Kingdom of God. It is a spiritual birth, a re-birth into a higher realm than simply the physical. All the data centers in the world will not be able to even come close to what God has done in creation. Treasure and cultivate what God has given you in this life. You are special and unique, and you have what no one else has - YOU! Make the most of it!
