Hope For The FutureBy Paul Hayden May 12, 2025We have some fine articles this week again to consider and perhaps help in seeing and understanding what is going on around us. It's truly a wonder we are not all MAD! (...as in crazy...) If everyone who is so caught up in sharing their opinions about everything would just get a real job helping someone else or the community or society in general, the world would likely be such a better place. To think how much $$$ gets relocated in order for so many to just share their opinions is nuts! And then you have the astrophysicists would earn big bucks contemplating and teaching about the hundreds of millions of stars that are millions of light-years away - a light-year is roughly 5.8 Trillion miles - and being so sure of themselves that they argue about their findings. And we can only “see” a very small portion of our own galaxy, which is one of many - who knows? - Billions of galaxies. It is the stuff of science fiction, based in far-distant and barely conceivable matter and distances. There are some even well-known "dreamers" who are hoping to help establish colonies in space, like even on the moon or Mars (which itself is around 140 Million miles away from Earth), but they can't even live in peace together with others here on Earth! Back down here in reality, I saw the live-streaming graduation ceremony of the wonderful Hillsdale College in Michigan on Saturday. This is something that gives me hope for mankind and our future. Victor Davis Hanson was the guest speaker, and as always, he made lots of sense just sharing from his heart. The student speaker was good, though I can barely remember ever being that young and well, so young. Hillsdale promotes the "good stuff" of our country. Thanks be to God! Blessings!

Paul Hayden is a Christian believer, and an American patriot, necessarily in that order. He is a student of the Bible, and is avidly interested in our role in the context of history, as understood through the heart and eyes of faith. Paul has lived and traveled somewhat widely, and now lives in the heartland of the U.S. (central Illinois), with his wife Donna - they have five grown children. Since December of 2016, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of www.ConservativeTruth.org."I was raised by a Christian minister, Kenneth Hayden, until his death when I was 10. Then my mom Bonnalee Hunt Hayden married a farmer. So I was raised in a very down-to-earth home. My faith has grown through the years, but both in conjunction with the institutional church and through small groups and individuals, including books as well as group settings, where deep, sincere faith is shared that aligns with Biblical truth."
