Determined, Unwavering, UnstoppableJanuary 6, 2025The 2024 presidential election was a defining moment in America. Some have said that it was an upheaval, and the greatest political upset and comeback in recent memory. The differences between the 2024 and 2016 presidential elections are notable and their repercussions extensive. President-elect Donald Trump claimed victory in both elections, but 2024 was a mandate. This major upset was manifested out of the anger, frustration, and desperation of the American people. To begin, the eight years of Obama’s, and four years of the Biden administration’s policies opened up a radical far-left Pandora’s Box, and a socialist secular ideological agenda was forced on the people. During the Biden administration, however, things deteriorated further. The economy, inflation, two wars, the disastrous Afghanistan pullout, abortion and parental rights, the transgender movement, illegal immigration, anti-pro-life and religion, and the open southern border that welcomed in 12 to 15 million illegal migrants - this was the ultimate betrayal and will have devastating effects. The American people became anxious, fearful of an uncertain future, and apprehensive; many were calling out for drastic change. When Mr. Trump assumed office in 2016, he was considered an outsider. He was outspoken, unapologetic, and at times could frustrate his detractors, and even supporters, with his rather audacious persona. The promises he made to the people, and the policies he would have to enact to accomplish and satisfy those promises, posed a threat to the Washington establishment. To counteract the Trump effect in 2017, Democrats, their media enablers, and the Washington bureaucracy developed and enacted an agenda that would seek to undermine and destroy the Trump presidency. The Russian collusion conspiracy, obstruction of justice, impeachments, the infamous laptop, the lies of the 51 intelligence officials - eventually, they all played a role in the outcome of the 2020 election. At the inception of the Biden presidency and in the aftermath of the January 6 Capitol protest, most of the nation felt that former President Trump was no longer a viable political entity; little did they know. His detractors however apparently felt that he still might pose a threat to their agenda. They set out once again, as they did in 2017, to make certain that he would be neutralized. Beginning in 2021, there followed radical and extreme attempts to thwart even the slightest inkling of the former president again becoming involved in politics and running for the office of president. In August, 2022, the Justice Department (DOJ) sent a contingent of armed agents to the Trump residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida to secure what DOJ claimed were confidential documents that the former president took with him when he left office. The assault on Mr. Trump became intense; it included the implementation of what became known as “Lawfare.” The DOJ through its proxies in New York and Georgia instructed its attorneys general and district attorneys to open cases against Mr. Trump. These consisted of five civil and criminal court indictments. While these trials were playing out, Mr. Trump took advantage of his time out of the courtroom and began campaigning for office. He held rallies in New York City in minority neighborhoods, met with workers at construction sites, and visited barber shops and bodegas. The turnouts were immense in mostly Democrat strongholds. Both juries in the cases mentioned previously found the former president guilty. This travesty was expected by most, including legal experts, who believed both cases were politically motivated. At this time, both are being appealed. There comes a time for some of us when we are confronted with adversity, and situations that can be life-altering. In July of 2024, while holding a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, former President Trump was the victim of an assassination attempt. The bullet pierced his right ear and drew blood, three other attendees were wounded, one fatally. Mr. Trump ducked below the podium as Secret Service agents surrounded him. He then stood up, raised his fist, and shouted “Fight, Fight, Fight,” to the rallygoers. There has been a noticeable change since this harrowing experience, Mr. Trump believing it to be the outcome of Divine intervention, seeming to have gone through a spiritual awakening. At this point, I believe most of the American people think this man cannot be stopped, and they are right. Unlike 2017, things are now entirely different. Mr. Trump is no longer the outsider and his one-time enemies have seen the light. Corporate heads, billionaires, and Fortune 500 companies and their CEOs, and Silicon Valley bigwigs that he originally feuded with have been rushing down to Mar-a-Lago and extending a hand of friendship, and offering their cooperation and money; at last count, there is over $15 million toward a Trump library. Mr. Trump is now considered to be the acting president, even though he has not been inaugurated yet, and President Biden is basically missing in action. Mr. Trump is holding court, and the world including leaders of nations are making the journey and engaging with the newly-elected president. And while this is being played out, Democrats are up to their usual unscrupulous chicanery, and making plans to thwart the new president.
