Fear Not - Do Not Be Afraid!By Paul Hayden September 30, 2024Keep a watch for the truth and ways you are being lied to constantly for various nefarious reasons. One of the worst ways and reasons for this intentional deception is to work on and instill fear in you - about anything! We all have fears. I can still hear Al Gore yelling, "THEY PLAYED ON YOUR FEARS!" It is strange how both sides of the political "aisle" (it's more like a chasm) do this, using often the same exact words. But only one side can be right - unless they are BOTH WRONG! This is what some people say, and I am more than a little inclined to agree with them. Many times in the Bible people are commanded, "FEAR NOT," and "DO NOT BE AFRAID." In one of the most poignant passages in the Bible, the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), Jesus at one point says "do not be worried about your life." His solution was to trust God. In the Bible there are many different accounts of people needing to hear from God. And He speaks to them in various different ways, such as in a quiet voice to Elijah after he had experienced great wind, an earthquake, and fire on Mt. Horeb, "the mountain of God." (1 Kings 19.9 ff) I would love to hear from readers and subscribers. I did hear from a few of you this week. Thank You! What are you thinking? What do you like - or dislike? What could you share in the greater discussion? Anything you would like to see here? Or see too much?
Blessings! Paul Hayden

Paul Hayden is a Christian believer, and an American patriot, necessarily in that order. He is a student of the Bible, and is avidly interested in our role in the context of history, as understood through the heart and eyes of faith. Paul has lived and traveled somewhat widely, and now lives in the heartland of the U.S. (central Illinois), with his wife Donna - they have five grown children. Since December of 2016, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of www.ConservativeTruth.org."I was raised by a Christian minister, Kenneth Hayden, until his death when I was 10. Then my mom Bonnalee Hunt Hayden married a farmer. So I was raised in a very down-to-earth home. My faith has grown through the years, but both in conjunction with the institutional church and through small groups and individuals, including books as well as group settings, where deep, sincere faith is shared that aligns with Biblical truth."
