The Biden-Harris Administration’s War On Religion And The Pro-Life Movement

In last week’s writing, I discussed the presidential debate. One of the questions asked was about abortion, and particular attention was paid to former President Trump’s response. His answer was factual and accurate; the Democratic Party’s position on abortion is unrestricted, up till birth, the 7th, 8th, and 9th month. The moderator disagreed and supported Vice President Harris’ response, which was not truthful. Democrats have no restrictions, even if it means infanticide. 

The Harris campaign and Democrats have determined that abortion is their issue of choice, and will be front and center in its policy platform and advertising. They believe it to be their Sword of Damocles’ over Republicans. Abortion, however, should not be a political football. It is a matter of life and death for the most innocent. Polls reveal a majority of the American people believe in restrictions on abortion. 

The effort to defeat and end abortion, with few exceptions, is the exclusive cause of the pro-life movement, Republicans, conservatives, and Christians. The driving force to support and sustain abortion without restriction is the ambition of the pro-choice Democrats, the Left, the entertainment industry, and the celebrity Hollywood elite. Based on this categorization, abortion runs the gamut of affecting religious, cultural, political and social life.

Today, there are daily accusations and bickering among entities on both sides of the abortion issue. But there is one overriding factor that has given the pro-choice movement the incentive and a step up on its pro-life nemesis. The Biden administration from its inception, and its agencies including the Department of Justice (DOJ) FBI, Health and Human Services, and Homeland Security have directed most of their investigative activities toward the pro-life movement, and religious institutions.

Recall back in 2023, Congress held hearings that involved the FBI’s opening a dossier on the Catholic Church and the faithful who worshiped at the Latin (Tridentine) mass. The DOJ had labeled them as extremists. There is also the plight of churches and pro-life pregnancy centers under constant attack by radical abortion supporters, and the FBI dragging its feet in investigating these crimes. As of today, no one has been brought to justice, after several hundred instances.

In a recent revelation, a congressional hearing conducted by the House Armed Services Committee accused the military of bias in its training protocol. The committee questioned the U.S. Army’s deputy chief of staff for operations, plans, and training, Lt. General Patrick Matlock. The allegation is that approximately 10, 000 soldiers at Fort Liberty (formally Fort Bragg) North Carolina were trained to believe that pro-life organizations qualify as “terrorist groups.” The committee asked about accountability, but the response was unacceptable.

During questioning, General Matlock explained how corrective action had been taken, but did not go into detail; this did not sit too well with members. Representative Jim Banks (R/Ind), subcommittee chairman on military personnel, and members on both sides of the aisle were skeptical. Banks was troubled by the General’s evasiveness, “I think the reason you can’t answer the question is because you know we know that no one has ever been held accountable for this training that started in 2017 and occurred until a few months ago. I think that’s a big embarrassment for the U.S. Army.”

Representative Banks added, “It’s dangerous and a bad pattern. The Biden-Harris Pentagon and U.S. Army are undermining the First Amendment and targeting conservative speech and values.” Numerous representatives spoke out about how they were troubled, expressing their misgivings.

The discovery of this activity first appeared on social media, planted by whistleblower Samuel Shoemate. It was passed onto him by a soldier who took part in the training session, and explained, “The briefing was simply a class on how to be a gate guard and what to look for when on duty, and was presented by a Department of Defense civilian.”

The past four years have revealed how the Biden-Harris administration and its agencies have made a calculated effort to undermine and persecute conservatives, Christians, and the pro-life movement. Their actions have proven just how biased, oppressive, and ideologically single-minded they are when it involves traditional values and institutions. They will undermine the Constitution to impose their radical Leftist agenda.
