Jurisdictional JoustingAddressing the Most Important Question You Will Ever FaceBy Ben Graydon October 2, 2017Many people respond to authority like this: when you come to a presentation of authority, submit to it! It’s like the famous Yogi Berra witticism, “When you come to a fork in the road, take it!” Which is NOT, by the way, what the Bible teaches! It is a question of jurisdiction. Does the authority figure have jurisdiction, and if so, is it absolute…or did you choose it? Didn’t know you have a choice of jurisdiction? Well, hang on…because you’re about to learn that you absolutely DO! There are, in fact, four distinct levels of law. The top one is fully authoritative all of the time; the one on the bottom is authoritative only if we agree to it! (And, shockingly, that is what most presume is the law, because it has been drilled into us in school, in the media, in the movies, and – yes – even in church.) What is jurisdiction, and why does jurisdiction matter? Where does it come from? What happens when jurisdictions conflict, and how does one choose which one to go with when jurisdictional conflict happens? What is the process of changing jurisdictions, and why and in what circumstances should we consider doing so? All of these questions – and more – will be covered, and answers given, in an informative free live webinar taught by the author on Monday, October 9, 2017, at 8:00 PM (Eastern Time). You can register for this webinar here: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/2241880398931200771 The instructor is a veteran speaker on the international stage, an educator, administrator, law enforcement officer, writer, businessman, and certified life coach…but most importantly, a child of God, a husband & father. Come and find out: where does the Christian believer go who wants to understand jurisdiction, who wants to stand on the promises of God, who wants to be true to scripture and not be distracted by anything that is extra-biblical or unscriptural? How does this believer come to realize all that God intends for him to be; and how does he stand on the power and authority of God in his life and the manifestation of that power and authority that’s supposed to flow through him according to the protocols of God, the design of God for his specific life? Where does he stand, with whom does he form alliances, and to what does he pledge his allegiance, if at all? Where does he plug in for an ongoing stream of information, revelation, support, and jurisdictional nutrition? How does he become and develop all that God made him to be? Where does he get the support that he needs to sharpen his iron? How does he learn wisdom, knowledge, and understanding? What is the process of discernment, of knowing what is good and what is not? How does he learn to identify counterfeits, to focus on the highest authority, to align with that highest authority, with God's purpose for him – to achieve the riches that God has for him? That is the way of the powerful man.
