New Documentary - ”The War On Children” 

Last week I wrote about St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, and a vile and sacrilegious funeral mass. In furtherance of that despicable event, there is a recently released documentary. Although it does not discuss the same subject matter, transgenderism, it does delve deep into another issue that is at the forefront of the Culture War.

“The War on Children,” available on X/ Twitter, (2 hours/19 minutes) discusses the relentless attack on children by a radical Left ideological agenda. The main thesis of the film is the sexualization and indoctrination of children in schools and social media. X owner Elon Musk has highly recommended this film, and has posted “Worth watching, especially for parents.”

The producers and directors of this important documentary are Robby Starbuck and his wife, who believe the American people must step up and take action. The welfare of children is of the utmost importance, and cannot be undermined or tarnished by this dangerous conspiracy. What the radical Left has to offer is a future of moral turpitude and anti-religion. It will defy the Judeo-Christian ethic, Western values, and traditional institutions, and will be influenced by gender ideology. 

The documentary includes interviews with individuals who are victims of this extreme Left agenda. There are emotional and at times provocative discussions with drag queens, a young transgender who is going through the harrowing process of de-transitioning, and who is also a survivor of child sex trafficking. There is also an interview with NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines who has been at the forefront of advocating for the rights of women’s and girl’s sports, and the exclusion of transgender females - biological males - from female sports.

There are focus groups with teenagers discussing social media and the influence of pornography. In a review of the documentary Andrew Gutmann, a candidate for Congress (R-Florida), provides a synopsis this way. “The War on Children shows a social contagion fueled by schools and social media that frequently leads confused, vulnerable, and often mentally ill kids - overwhelmingly girls - down the path of gender dysphoria.” 

According to Gutmann the documentary presents four fronts that the war on children is being fought on. It is “…a war against girls, against boys, against parents, against America’s foundational values. There is the sex-trafficking industry and how society’s sexualization of girls and pornography causes depression and other mental health issues.” In one particular case, a young girl explains how at the age of 14 she was sex trafficked in more than 12 states.

One of the more disturbing parts is an interview with a young girl who discusses her de-transitioning. At the age of 12, she began the process of puberty blockers, was surgically mutilated, and suffered severe nerve damage by a double mastectomy at the age of 13. It was also revealed that her doctors gave her scant information, and without informed consent for the procedures.

Not as intense or in-depth as the girls were the documentary's discussion of the war on boys. In focus groups, teenager boys spoke about the feminization of schools and society, and how healthy male masculinity and masculine role models were absent. There was also mention made of how the celebrity culture has embraced effeminate men, and how teenagers engage in pornography to replace normal relationships.

“The War on Children” takes aim at the Left’s ideological agenda concerning parents. It explains how they are having less and less involvement in the protection of their children, and how the state looks to replace the traditional role of the parent/guardian. There is a heartbreaking story of a young girl removed from her home and parents by a representative of California Child Protective Services to undergo gender transitioning surgery. This innocent little girl later committed suicide.

Thus far I have discussed three of four main fronts of the Culture War, as described above: boys, girls, and parents. The last is the war on America, and it should come as no surprise; it has been clear, defined, and out in the open as to the Left’s agenda. For some years now, together with their enablers in the media and academia, the Left has been making a concerted and calculated effort to impose their radical ideology on the American family and traditional values. They have set their sights on the most vulnerable and gullible, the children. All parents must be vigilant, to confront and stand firm against those who would destroy lives and the American way.
