The SHAM al-Sheikh Appeasements
So after seven years of appeasements that have simply produced ever
greater violence, ever greater Nazification of Arabs, ever greater Arab
savagery, Ehud Barak decided yesterday in SHAM al-Sheikh to go for yet
another round of appeasements. First, he gave up what had previously been an
Israel unconditional demand, namely that the "Tanzim" organizers of the
pogroms be disarmed by the PLO. Out the window. (As if Arafat would have
complied anyway.) Barak then agreed to the farcical "fact-finding
commission" Clinton was pushing, as if there were any facts that are not
known about how Arafat ordered the pogroms. Barak also agreed to surrender
and withdraw from assorted strongpoints the PLO stormtroopers had been
unable to dislodge Israel from in the pogroms. And there is reason to
think that there are worse appeasements that are secret to which Barak
agreed at SHAM al-Sheikh.
But the very worst part of the whole debacle was that days after Arafat
orders his brownshirts to launch pogroms, murder 17 Jews, mutilate and
torture two reserve soldiers, firebomb synagogues, the Court Jew Barak goes
and shakes Arafat’s paw, smiling and gladhanding. Twas a time when it was
thought that Israel was created to deter pogromchiks and punish anti-Semites
and nazis. Now we know the Israeli government of Barak thinks its job is to
sip tea and hobnob with nazis.
One of the signs that the Oslo bubble in Israel is starting to burst is
that suddenly the television bimbos are willing to ask critical questions of
the Israeli junta leaders. Suddenly they are willing to ask things like,
How come making all those concessions only produced violence?, or asking
Ahmed Tibi and similar Gauleiters, so you don’t think all them Arabs getting
shot had something to do with the fact that they were attacking Israeli
soldiers? Now the troglodyte Far-Left TV critic at Haaretz, Rogel Alper, is
suddenly having a conniption over this and all this week is lashing out at
TV newsmen who dare to carry out such crimes as to question Oslo.
Arafat’s new top Right-Hand Paw, Marwan Barghati, says the violence will
continue "until the ’Conquest’ has been ended." Of course the "Conquest" is
already ended, what with all the Palestinians in the "territories" living
under the rule of the PLO. SO what does he mean by ending the "Conquest"?
Well here is a hint. Has to do with the new sudden fad among Israel’s
Treason-Chic leftists, calling Israel’s Arabs the "Israeli Palestinians".
In other words, the existence of Israel is the "Conquest" that must be
ended.
OH the press is ful of how the pogroms wrecked havoc with the Palestinian
economy. Remember the days when Peres was assuring everyone that the PLO
would only be worried about economics once it got some territory, and would
never do violence lest it hurt the economic interests and material comforts
of the Palestinians?
The world likes to whine about "discrimination" in Israel and our
position has long been that the main form of discrimination in Israel is in
favor of Arabs and against Jews. Just take the arrest numbers from last
week. As you recall, after two weeks of nonstop pogroms by the Arabs,
including Israeli Arab fascists, some hotheaded Jews started hitting back.
In Tel Aviv/Jaffa, 92 Jewish "rioters" were arrested, in contrast with 76
Arabs. 18 were charged in court as opposed to 4 Arabs. Even in the
Galilee, which was turned into an Arab pogrom grounds, the number of Arabs
arrested for rioting was only slightly higher than the number of Jews. No
doubt had Barak led the Allied troops in 1944, he would have arrested about
the same number of partisans as SS men.
All the foreign news teams have informal and formal deals with the PLO
never to print things that would embarrass the PLO. SO imagine the red
faces when an Italian TV crew filmed shots of the mob of Palestinian nazis
gouging out the eyes, murdering and then mutilating the two IDF reservists,
and then dipping their hands in the blood of the murdered men and waving
them about. The PLO was not amused. SO yesterday the Italian TV put large
ads in all the West Bank papers apologizing for its sins.
The "Liberalism as Judaism" establishment in the US is still hard at
work. Opposition leader Ariel Sharon was scheduled to address an assembly
of Jewish communities n Chicago on November 10, but his name was suddenly
dropped, and the spokesliberal for the group explained it was cause Sharon
had dared to walk on the Temple Mount. (Haaretz Oct 18)
