1. While there is still some question of what it was that blew up the five (or four, according to some) Palestinian children in Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip yesterday, Maariv saying it was an anti-personnel mine and Haaretz saying an unexploded tank shaell, one thing is clear.

   Israel cannot be expected to exhibit more caring for Palestinian children than the Palestinians themselves. The PLO has turned the Gaza Strip into a war zone. It did so because the Israeli Left invited in the PLO Wehrmacht and provided it with weapons. In war zones, people - including children - get killed. The PLO is as much to blame for any Palestinian children who get killed while playing with explosives in the Gaza Strip as the Taliban are for Afghan children getting killed by US bombing. If indeed it was an Israeli mine that exploded yesterday, it should be emphasized that the location where it was planted is one from which PLO crews fire into Jewish civilian homes virtually every day. Placing a mine there, if that is what it was, is a legitimate act of Jewish self-defense. Just like bombing Kondahar.

   The Palestinians don’t like getting their children blown up? Then they should stop the terrorist war against the Jews. Simple. Yassir Arafat and Shimon Peres killed these children as unambiguously as if they had planted the mine themselves.

   Yes the Palestinian street is screaming its usual bloodlust against Jews, for "revenge" for the death of the children. But these are the very same creatures who daily send their children to attack Jewish soldiers while PLO "Police" fire over their heads, cowering behind them, to draw the fire at them. While parents of dead children get a cash windfall, and their kids win 70 virgin squeeze toys. SO get real. The people here who are indifferent to the death of the Palestinian children are the Palestinian fascist hordes and the PLO leadership.

2. Haaretz is not a newspaper to report negative news about the PLO unless it is absolutely true, and in fact will often not report it EVEN if it IS true.

   But there it is in black and white. The PLO itself, and not its Hamas and Jihad front groups, has decided to train and dispatch crews of suicide bombers to blow up Jews, Haaretz reports today Nov 23, 01. You see, until now the PLO played a little game whereby all the suicide bombers were technically not PLO members. They were "dissidents" from the Hamas and Jihad. The PLO would nod and wink when they would blow up Jews. Arafat would even declare "The Engineer" a saint when Israel reverse-engineered him. Arafat would then whine to Powell and Bush about how he was REALLY REALLY trying to clamp down on such things, and the Eurotrash would confirm he is, definitely. Arafat would insist that, unlike the CNN camera crews, he just cannot find any of the Hamas and Jihad leaders.

   But the charade is over. The PLO has stopped the facade of letting OTHERS wave its swastika.

3. In Israel, the senior military brass usually behave like poodles of the Left. After all, they are dependent on the government - meaning more often than not the Labor Party - to set them up in cushy jobs after they "retire" in their 40s. Even military intelligence usually echoes Labor Party platitudes and silliness, and in particular staunchly refused to point out the stupidity and harm of Oslo from the start and down to today.

   Which makes the comments of General Amos Gilad all the more courageous and admirable. Gilad states simply (Maariv Nov 23, 01) what we all know: Israel’s media is in the service of Palestinians terrorism. By revealing military information and leaking secrets, by misrepresenting the strategic and political situation in a way biased towards the Arab position. Unquote.

   If he were a civilian, the Attorney General might now prosecute him for "incitement" for daring to say what we all know is true. Maybe he will anyway.

4. At the sidelines of the events of Sept 11, there is a strange story involving a group of Israeli teeny boppers. Seems the Clearasil crew were standing at the tip of Staten Island when the planes crashed into the Towers, standing their laughing hysterically as the absurdity of the situation. Possibly high on something. Neighbors complained and the crew were then hosted at Rikers Island, subjected to intense interrogation and held in isolation. Eventually, the Feds were convinced that the crew were not guilty of anything beyond poor taste in tattoos and haircuts, and were released. But while being interrogated under suspicion of some sort of involvement in the Sept 11 events, they had the crapola pounded out of them by New York’s finest, were threatened, left naked, etc. Seems the FBI at first suspected they were working for the Mossad as part of some sort of Chamishian-conspiracy.

   Now, the NYPD made an honest mistake, and frankly a tour of Rikers probably did these gents some good in the long run. But I think it is worth mentioning how they were treated, to be recalled the next time someone whines about Israel’s intelligence forces using "moderate pressure", like shaking and waking up at night, on Palestinians terrorists refusing to reveal in which school bus the bombs are hidden.
