As the Northern Alliance conducts a series of Sabra and Shatilla massacres, the world media, led by the BBC and the Economist, have declared that the massacres are all the fault of Ariel Sharon for not halting his army before the city, and Menahem Begin, for not realizing that the Northern Alliance conquest would produce murders. The Israeli Left, led by Meretz, has taken to the streets with banners denouncing the murderers and war criminals from the Likud. 400,000 protesters have been predicted by the Israeli press to be descending upon Rabin Square. The world is preparing sanctions against Israel in response to the Northern Alliance killings.
