1. The Middle East Media and Research Institute, or MEMRI, has published a collection of statements by assorted Moslem leaders, religious leaders, and state-run newspapers in the Arab world endorsing attacks on the United States. They can be viewed at www.memri.org

   In particular, the PLO-appointed official Mufti in the "Palestinian Authority", Ahrama Zabri, speaking on the PLO-run radio station "Radio Palestine" on Aug 24, 01, said "Allah Destroy America, her helpers and her agents, Allah Destroy Britain, her helpers and her agents."

2. For those expecting the recent events to inject a bit of Viagra into Ariel Sharon, don’t hold your breath. Sharon’s response to events? To Re-Occupy and Denazify the "Palestinian zones"?

   No, grasshopper.

   Ariel Sharon has decided to respond to events by making further concessions to the PLO to try to arrange for "talks" with it, and so Sharon resembles his Foreign Minister more and more. As you know, Sharon’s position was that Israel is willing to parley with the PLO Nazis and implement the Mitchell Commission capitulations as soon as the PLO maintains a total ceasefire for 7 days. Why Sharon chose seven days and not 50 years has never been explained adequately.

   In any case, in response to the entire world mobilizing to strike out against Arab terrorism and Islamist fascism, Sharon decided to shorten the required period for a total ceasefire - on which he is conditioning "talks" - now to 48 hours. No, that is not a misprint: not 48 years but 48 hours.

   Meanwhile, Arafat has indeed postured in front of cameras while ordering a "ceasefire", finger tapping nose and wink wink wink. So why now? Because Arafat is not afraid of Israel, which has been bluffing about striking him and his Reichlet "really really hard" for 8 years. Arafat is shivering cause he is afraid of an enraged United States. And if Sharon and his people had a microgram of common sense they would send in the tanks immediately into the "Palestinian Authority". What are they afraid of - that smashing Arab terrorist rings will not play well in Peoria?

   Meanwhile, the United States has announced with great fanfare that it is revoking its own prohibition on US agents assassinating the enemies of the United States. Of course it was only hours ago that the entire State Department apparatus was spending most of its waking hours denouncing Israel for assassinating terrorist leaders who organize suicide bombings and murders of Israeli children.

   The State Department’s new mantra will inevitably be, "Do what we say and not what we do."

3. The Satmar Hasidim are fanatical anti-Zionists, just a wee bit on the sane side of the Neturai Karta, the clowns who sent their "Rabbis" to Durban to march with the anti-Semites against Israel. Both groups are anti-Zionist because they think the Messiah must come before Jews exercise statehood and sovereignty.

   And both groups rely on their anti-Zionism to protect them from attacks by Arab Nazis and similar haters of Jews.

   Well yesterday a Satmar fellow was murdered by an Arab anti-Zionist in Jerusalem.

   So much for that theory.

4. The Sunday Times (London) reports that Bin Laden has been trying to get hold of enriched uranium.

5. So bin Laden is a millionaire is he? With hundreds of millions? Well, wake up Senators cause he is not carrying it in cash and no he does not use American Express traveler checks but rather leaves home without them, meaning the loot is in banks and waiting to be seized. And it is likely buried in Saudi accounts and institutions.
