Broward County has made Florida the laughing stock of the nation - again. In the week since this election, Broward and Palm Beach Counties are the only two in Florida (out of 67) that have been unable to count their votes. Even the counties in the Panhandle of Florida that were hit by their worst hurricane in history, did their duty in this election.

If you look at the Broward Supervisor of Elections, Brenda Snipes, you will find that she is both grossly inefficient and supremely corrupt. Her entire department is hopelessly incapable of performing its duties. And she (and possibly some of her underlings) has been proven to have violated election laws.  Read more...
How Did Armistice Day and Veteran's Day Become One?
Dr. Tom Barrett
100 years ago today (at 11 AM on 11/11/1918) the Armistice was declared, ending World War I. There was joy in the streets of Paris. One American serviceman described how French girls were coming up to him and kissing him. He described the day as “the happiest in my life.” We don’t know whether his joy arose from the fact that war was finally over, or whether it was a result of all that kissing.

It was called “The War to End All Wars.” All over the world, but especially in the thirty-two nations that were involved in the hostilities, Armistice Day was celebrated with the hope that after the horrors of this worldwide war, mankind would come to its senses and ban war forever. It was not to be.  Read more...

When I realized that today was the anniversary of “The Night of Broken Glass,” I immediately thought of Antifa. Recently a mob of Antifa "protestors" vandalized the home of a Fox News anchor, smashed in his front door, and terrorized his wife. The Jewish Holocaust started this way. At first, it was an occasional home or business vandalized, or a mob beating up a defenseless Jewish woman. Emboldened by the fact that they got away with that, the escalated to "Kristallnacht," in which 4,500 Jewish businesses were destroyed, and 100 Jews died. The international community was outraged but did nothing. The next inevitable escalation was the Holocaust itself. Six million Jews were first deported, then methodically murdered.

Abortion and its repercussions can be as brutal and inhumane as the deadly procedure.
Bob Pascarella
Abomination, atrocious, malevolent, inhumane - to those in the prolife movement these descriptions are appropriate, but to the supporters of abortion they may seem greatly exaggerated, insulting and perhaps over the top. Even though they may be disposed to consider a woman’s right to choose as a legal remedy to what in most cases is a decision made to correct a mistake or for convenience purposes, I believe deep down they may have reservations and might agree with the aforementioned labels. This is based on conversations I have had with some who consider themselves as pro-choice.  Read more...

In my car just before the election, I heard a campaign ad against Congressman Carlos Curbelo, from Florida's 26th congressional district. It said, “More school children were shot and killed this year than soldiers killed in combat in Afghanistan.” This ad was attacking the congressman because he carried an "A" rating from the NRA. Gwen Graham, a former U.S. congresswoman from Florida, introduced the idea in her Facebook page. It appeared on politifact.com in May of this year. This ad was at best misleading.

President Trump has stepped up his criticism of the Federal Reserve, saying of its aggressive interest rate hikes that it has “gone crazy.” The same charge has been leveled against Trump, but there may be a method to his madness... Read more...

What must happen before decent, thoughtful Democrats leave the party of their fathers? But then, the Democrat Party is no longer your father’s party. It is a totally different creature that Scoop Jackson, Harry Truman, and super conservative Larry McDonald would not recognize. Every member of my family in West Virginia was a Yellow Dog Democrat - meaning they would vote for a yellow dog before voting for a Republican. When I decided to run for the Indiana House of Representatives in 1976 as a Republican (a Reagan Republican), my conflicted father reluctantly gave his blessings and even voted for Reagan in 1980.  Read more...

Despite being founded on the principle of limited, enumerated powers derived from the will of the people and subject to the transcendent will of the Creator God, the current government in Washington D.C. is now a corrupt corporation acting as an organized criminal enterprise. Departing from its roots, wherein it acknowledged the God of the Bible as the Creator and Lawgiver, it has become Godless and grasping, and now has its tentacles in virtually every aspect of our lives.  Read more...

The world doesn’t need three religions – it has always needed one Savior to get it out of its greatest problem – the sinfulness of the human heart.

This is not criticism for criticism’s sake, but it is an assessment of a false religion that has driven entire nations to harbor the pure falsehood that God is not a God of mercy.  Read more...

This election's results are hardly the “great victory” claimed by President Trump. Republicans picked up a few seats in the Senate, only because unpopular Democrats were up for re-election in conservative states, and lost the House. However, conservative Senator Ted Cruz barely survived in Texas, and the Republican gubernatorial candidate in conservative Georgia, Brian Kemp, only has a narrow lead. The conclusion is inescapable that the “Brown is the New White” rainbow strategy of Barack Hussein Obama is working, putting conservatives on the defensive all across the country.  Read more...

Many are saying we can’t use troops on the border - that they aren’t law enforcement. They’re right – the military isn’t law enforcement. But why are we treating a several-thousand-strong potential invasion like a law enforcement issue?

Who else would you use to repel an invasion? And don’t tell me this isn’t a planned and orchestrated event.  Read more...

Will Pelosi be a Lord of the Sewer Ring?
Bob McCray
All the world has heard Nancy Pelosi harp about being Speaker of the House again and again, of how she wants to hold the Speakers Gavel signifying the position and power of the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Her repeated statements of reclaiming the Speakers Gavel reminds me of the character Gollum in the Story, The Lord of the Ring, whose entire physical existence is wrapped around the magical ring, he calls “My Precious.” Read more...
