The Real "New" DemocratsThis is not your father's Democrat Party.By Ric Wasley January 27, 2020If you’ve ever had any doubts about the modern Democrat party, wonder no longer - because the current political climate is no longer about two loyal parties who love America. It's not the same choice that most of us grew up with - two Americain parties with only cosmetic differences as to which philosophies will bring the most benefit to the greatest number of hardworking citizens.
Sadly I’m afraid that train left the station a few decades ago.
Today’s Democrats have no use for that model of democracy. In fact, they have shown and stridently expressed that they have little use for US citizens and even less use for America itself. If you listen to their candidates and politicians they seem to have a few central themes.
They don’t like America. They don’t like the spirit of freedom, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance that embodies America and sets it apart from all other nations.
America, they say, is a racist, sexist, unfair, nationalist, patrimony that must be torn down from within and be forcibly rebuilt on a politically correct socialist model. And that’s just the “new” Democrat party.
But even that is not radical enough for some Democrats. Enter the "Democrat Socialist Party.” And don’t let the word “socialist” fool you.
This new extreme wing of the Dems is not advocating for the ‘Scandinavian style Socialism’ that the DNC media prattle on about. Make no mistake - the 'Bernie-Bros' are not Socialists - they are hardcore Stalin worshipping Bolsheviks who believe that it’s 'my way or the highway.’ And that highway leads only to their way or the prison camp!
Does that sound unbelievable?
Well, here is what they want for everyone who doesn’t get with their program...
Jurek suggested the use of gulags for "re-education" of Trump supporters and praised political labor camps.
And this is not just an outlier or merely a single odd comment. A second Bernie staffer in yet another location expressed the same sentiment.
Again - these are not random cranks in the hinterlands - these are the dedicated Bernie Bros. Frontmen in the early primary states of Iowa and South Carolina.
If history has taught us nothing else it is that we should take extremists at their word when they warn us what they are going to do.
And lest we think that these extreme leftists can never garner a majority of votes in the US to implement gulags and “re-education camps”, remember that the Bolsheviks began as a tiny minority in 1917 and the Nazis never won a majority when they took over Germany in 1933.
Sadly those in Russia, Germany, China, Cambodia, and the Middle East did not pay sufficient attention when their extremists warned them of their fate. And look what that got them.
But is this really the face of the new Democrat and Democrat Socialist Party? Better believe it.
In fact, their spiritual leader AOC, thinks they are still not extreme enough. She says there is no real leftist party in the US at all.
So before we dismiss the “Bernie Bros" and "the Squad" as merely extreme outliers for the radical left, we would do well to remember that the Bolsheviks of 1917 and the Nazi’s of 1933, the Red Guards of Chairman Mao, and the killing fields of Pol Pot were also initially dismissed in the same fashion by the Western Democracies.
The only difference is that now, the Democrat Socialists are a part (albeit utterly opposed) of our own western of Democracy.
Have no illusions. Should they ever gain the slightest modicum or even the illusion of power, they would have no hesitation of following that same totalitarian path blazed for them by the communists, oligarchs, and fascists of the past centuries.
So as we wend our way through the mud of this coming election season we would do well to keep in mind that it is only the votes of those who love freedom for all that stand between our government of, by, and for the people and those that would try to twist it into their own grim vision of oppression.
