Why Isn't Anyone Talking about the Pink Elephant in the Room?

September 23, 2019

America doesn’t change easily. Until 1961 all our presidents were white, straight Protestants. The great majority were men with military experience, as befits a Commander-in-Chief. We tend to be suspicious of people who want to lead our nation, but who do not share our beliefs and values.

Do you remember when John F. Kennedy ran for president? There was a huge backlash because he was a Catholic in a primarily Protestant Christian nation. Many expressed concern that he would take orders from the pope instead of following the will of the people. He was able to overcome this by stating, “I am not the Catholic candidate for president. I am the Democratic Party candidate for president who also happens to be a Catholic. I do not speak for my Church on public matters – and the Church does not speak for me.” That was wise – and it worked. He became a good president who was far more conservative than today’s Democrats – and even some Republicans.

He wasn’t the first Catholic nominee, however. Democrat Al Smith ran in 1904, but was defeated not just for his religion, but also for his association with the legacy of corruption of Tammany Hall.

It’s possible we may have had an atheist president, but if we did, he did a great job of keeping it a secret. Throughout our history atheists, primarily Democrats, have argued that four Godly men (including George Washington and Abraham Lincoln) were atheists. The article linked below, “Our Atheist Presidents” thoroughly debunks these lies. Think of all the damage an open atheist could do to religious freedom. As a Christian nation, I don’t see Americans ever electing an atheist to our highest office.

We may have already had a Muslim president. If this is true, he also did a great job of keeping it a secret. Although he denies it, documentary evidence shows that at the very least Obama was raised as a Muslim, and attended a Madrassa (an Islamic school that brainwashes very young boys to believe that all Christians and Jews are enemies of Allah, and that it is their duty to kill these “infidels”). He only started going to church when he decided to get into politics. If he had gone to a real Christian church, he might have met the Lord and had a much different life.

Unfortunately for him and for our nation, he chose to attend a fake church for 22 years. Its “Pastor” Jeremiah Wright, was a violent anti-Semite. Wright invited such hateful Muslims as “Minister” Louis Farrakhan to spew his vile filth from the church’s pulpit – while Obama listened. Obama also learned hatred for America from the evil “Reverend” Wright. After Muslims murdered almost 3,000 Americans on 9/11, Wright screamed, “God bless America? No, no, no no!! It’s God D**N America!!” He went on to say that America got what it deserved. (If you don’t believe me, the videos of both Farrakhan’s and Wright’s blasphemies are available on the Internet.)

Some claim that Madrassas are just Islamic public schools. If that were true, why aren’t girls allowed to attend? And why is the primary subject the Koran?A Madrassa is an Islamic religious school. Many of the Taliban were educated in Saudi-financed Madrassas that teach Wahhabism, a particularly violent form of Islam which is rooted in Saudi Arabia. Saudi wealth and charities have contributed to an explosive growth of Madrassas that teach their violent “religion” all over the world – including America. Obama’s Muslim step-father is the one who made sure he attended the Madrassa in Indonesia mentioned above. Obama admits this in one of his many self-serving books.

Although Obama never admitted he was a Muslim, he at least cracked open the door for a future Islamic president by being highly sympathetic to the Muslim religion. While discriminating against Christians and Jews, he took every opportunity to advance Islam, including appointing Muslims to the highest offices. He discriminated against almost all religions in his policies, while giving preferential treatment to Islamists. In so doing he paved the way for someone who is an openly professing and practicing Muslim to run for the highest office in the land. (Be sure to read the WALLBUILDERS article linked below: “America’s Most Biblically-Hostile President.”)

Keep an eye on Dr. Abdularaham El-Sayed. He is a practicing Muslim and a Medical Doctor. (Although he frequently talks about his medical experience, he has never practiced medicine. He has only used his medical degree for political purposes, such as when he ran the Department of Health in Detroit.) He tried to gain the Democrat nomination for Governor of Michigan, but was rejected. However, he has designs on the Oval Office, and he has a powerful ally – George Soros. Soros has already funded El-Sayed, and is reportedly grooming him to be the next Liberal “Hope and Change” candidate.

What about women?  The first female presidential candidate was Victoria Woodhull in 1872 under the banner of something called the Equal Rights Party. The first woman presidential candidate from a major party was Margaret Chase Smith in 1964. By the way, to all the Democrats who claim that theirs is the party of inclusion, Smith was nominated by the Republican Party, and she made it all the way to the first ballot at the National Convention. The first female who was actually nominated and ran as a vice-presidential candidate was Democrat Geraldine Ferraro. The first prize for tenacity in presidential politics goes to Hillary Clinton. Despite being crushed by Obama in the 2008 Democrat primary, she ran again in 2016. This time she was crushed by President Trump, losing the Electoral College in a landslide.

The interesting thing is that despite both parties nominating women for the highest office, there is still considerable debate within the Democrat Party about whether a woman can be elected president. Just two months ago the New York Times ran a major piece headlined, “It’s a Question No One Says They Want to Ask. But the Women Running for President Keep Hearing It.”  Of course the question to which they refer is, “Can a woman win?” After Hillary’s humiliating defeat, the question began to be asked more often and more loudly. In my opinion, if she had stopped whining about being discriminated  against because she was a woman, and pushing her candidacy as a win for women (“I’ll be the first woman president!), she would likely have done much better. A lot of people wanted a woman president – even a terrible one. But women didn’t like being told by her that they would betray womanhood if they didn’t vote for Hillary – so many didn’t.

I believe we will see a woman in the Oval Office. It will be a hard win, because some men believe a woman cannot lead our great nation. And, believe it or not, there are many women who feel the same way. But we have seen great nations in modern times, notably Israel and India, governed very successfully by women. In ancient Israel, Deborah was the Judge over all the nation during the time when the Judge was both the head of civil government and the Jewish religion. But these prejudices are changing. I can think of many great female leaders I would vote for. It’s just a matter of time until we hear a great woman leader addressed as Madame President. What about Blacks? We have never had a black president. Although Obama claims that title, he is bi-racial. He had one white parent, his Socialist mother; and one black parent, his Kenyan father. According to Wikipedia, “In 2008, Barack Obama became the first Bi-racial presidential candidate nominated by a major party, namely the Democrats. He is the first Bi-racial American to be elected and re-elected President of the United States.”

In 1870 the 15th Amendment was adopted, prohibiting states from preventing citizens from voting because of "race, color, or previous condition of servitude." Frederick Douglass didn’t wait for the Fifteenth. In 1848, even though he couldn’t vote, he became the first African-American presidential candidate.

There have been many black presidential candidates. But like most of the non-traditional candidates discussed in this article, the party banners they ran under were fringe groups, primarily Socialist, Communist, “people’s” and “worker’s” parties. Few received more than 50,000 votes nationwide – with one notable exception. In 2016 the Green Party (which is fringe, but better known) ran Jill Stein for president, and a black man named Ajamu Baraka as her running mate. They earned 1,457,044 votes nationally.

Will we have a black president someday? Of course.  It won’t be in 2020, because none of the clowns running against Trump, regardless of their color or gender, has a wisp of a chance of beating him. We will have a black president because there are hundreds of wonderful black leaders who are just as deserving of consideration as anyone else. For instance, I would love to have the opportunity to vote for Alan Keyes for president.  He is both a great leader and a great intellectual. It always shocks me when intellectual midget phonies like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are put forth as leaders of the black community, and giants like Keyes are ignored. When that changes, we will see a black man or woman sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office.

Now, to the point of this article. You had to have been wondering about the Pink Elephant, right? “Pink Elephant” is a term used for drunken hallucinations.

When John F. Kennedy ran for president, the news media always preceded his name with “the first Catholic US presidential candidate.” When Obama first ran, we were always breathlessly reminded that, if elected, he would be “the first black president.” The same was true with Hillary and all the excitement about her possibly becoming “the first female president.”

This has been true every time a non-traditional candidate has run for any major national position, especially president. Think about all the uproar when Sandra Day O’Connor as appointed the first female Supreme Court Justice. The same was true, but to a greater degree when Thurgood Marshall was appointed as the first Black Justice.

So why does no one mention that Pete Butigieg is an open homosexual “married” to a man? You can’t get further out of the mainstream than that in America. If the Founding Fathers foresaw a day when we would put a man who directly violates the Bible’s clear prohibition against two men having sex, they might have said, “Forget the Revolution. If that’s what our country will become, it’s not worth fighting and dying for.”

The irony of “Mayor Pete,” as he likes to be called, is that he claims to be a Christian and quotes the Bible frequently. But how can he claim to be a Christian when he knows that the Bible teaches that marriage is only between a man and a woman? How can he say he follows the Bible when the Bible is so clear that sex between men is forbidden?

Leviticus 18:22 says, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” The word “abomination” means that it disgusts God. Later, in Leviticus 20:13, God says, “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.” God didn’t pull any punches in expressing the truth about this wicked practice.

Romans 1:26 – 27 says, “For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

How about spending eternity in heaven or hell? In I Corinthians 6:9 God warns, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality.”

Friends, God doesn’t give suggestions. He issues commandments. Anyone who can read those verses and come to any other conclusion that Pete Butigieg is in danger of hell fire either does not know how to read, or has been so brainwashed by the lies of our society that they are not capable of reason.

I will make this prediction: We will never see a homosexual elected president. The same is true for an atheist and a Muslim. If that ever happened, God would remove His hand of protection from our nation, and it would not be a place where a normal person would want to live.

Our nation is in serious trouble. The idea that Butigieg would be allowed by Democrats to run for our nation’s highest office proves that. To the few people who actually believe he could be elected, I say "Pink Elephant." You are suffering from a drunken hallucination, you have some other form of mental or emotional illness, or you are just plain ignorant.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t change the fact that he is running, or the fact that this indicates serious flaws in our national character. It’s not too late, but if America doesn’t get its act together soon, it will get much worse.

I will close with a verse that is often quoted, but is particularly pertinent here: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14
