Historically, Do Walls Work?

The short answer is - 'Yes!'

January 14, 2019

In their latest scheme to reverse the results of the 2016 election in which Americans rejected the National Democrat Socialist agenda, the ‘political commissars’ of the DNC have decided that the only way they can ever win an election where they offer their program of socialism vs democracy, is to import more socialists.

And where can they find millions of people so desperate, oppressed, impoverished, and hopeless that even the repression of socialism looks better than what they have?

They can come from those very countries where democracy has failed. In particular, the dozens of cartel- and oligarch-run countries below our southern border.

The Dems look at the downtrodden populations of these impoverished countries and drool. When they see countries where a small group of dictators, elites, and oligarchs hold all the wealth and power while keeping the populations ignorant and powerless, they lick their chops and say, “Yes! That’s the kind of power we want!”
The only problem is how you steal it in a country that was founded on the rights of the individual over the power-hungry plutocratic elite?

To their shock and rage in 2016, the answer which they found is that you can’t. Say what you will, however, they are nothing if not determined.

They decided a long time ago that if they can’t gain power legitimately they will do whatever it takes. From co-opting a formerly free press to propaganda disguised as news, to stuffing ballot boxes and voter fraud, to importing millions of third-worlders so desperate that the lure of a temporarily stable socialist welfare state looks like paradise to them.

How do you keep this nightmare from becoming reality? Enter Trump and “The Wall”... (apologies to Pink Floyd).

“But,” scream the Dems, “Walls don’t work!”

Really? Let’s take a look

Both Hadrian and Justinian built walls to keep the savage Picts from ravaging the more civilized Roman Britain. Did they work forever? No, but they did for hundreds of years.

Later on, in Britain, the Vikings looted and destroyed the monasteries because they had no walls and the only thing that kept them from conquering Britain was when Alfred the Great put what around his cities? Walls.

The first thing William the Conquer did after taking England was to build lots and lots of castles...with walls.
Same thing all over Europe. Walls kept civilization alive throughout the Dark Ages. And aren't we entering a new dark age with so many whose only goal is the utter destruction of all Western Civilization?

Moving further east, Constantinople stood as a bulwark of civilization for 1500 years because of its...Walls.

Under-educated leftists (are there any other kind?) sneer that, “walls don’t work” and cite the Great Wall of China.

Really? Well, it sure did for millions of Chinese for more than two millennia! Sure it was constantly being repaired, improved, and added to - but they wouldn’t have bothered to do that unless it worked!

Like all walls…can they be breached? Sure.
Are they perfect? No.
Do they keep out every determined person? No.

However, do they keep out millions of people bent on harming, robbing, raping, and destroying peoples who shelter behind those walls? Yes!

Maybe not forever - and history certainly shows us that the walls must be maintained, updated, and manned with trained manpower and especially keeping up with the latest in cutting edge technology.

But the concept of physical barriers, locks, doors, and walls, have allowed civilizations to survive and flourish since the dawn of recorded history and, liberals take note, long before Donald Trump was elected or even born!

Liberals, in your unhinged and self-destructive quest to be against everything he is for, you ignore that fact that liberals, leftists, and even your own Democrat leaders loved walls before Donald Trump did. Why? Because they work! They always have. That's why you all have them around your houses and gated communities.

So please, stop acting like spoiled children who hold their breath and turn blue because they’re mad at mommy and daddy.

I know that your spoiled-child, petulant behavior has always worked with RINO Republican mommy in the past, but you may find this time that Daddy Trump may just let you continue to hold your breath until you run out of oxygen.
