CIA Helps Russia in Winning the Propaganda War

January 16, 2017

Have the Russians infiltrated our Intelligence community? The Russians have tried to disrupt elections around the world. They have done it wherever free elections have taken place. It's nothing new, and not targeted only to the United States or our candidates. We saw it coming. They only want to cause chaos and delegitimize the democratic process.

The media, Democrats, and Rep. John Lewis have fallen for "the Russian cool-aide," aiding Putin by keeping Russia in the top of the news and saying the President is not legitimate - even though intelligence reports conducted by all agencies state Russia did not affect the election outcome.

Now the press is obsessed with a document of rumors and innuendos against Trump that supposedly came from Russia. Part of the document said a Trump adviser, Coats, went to the Ukraine for a meeting during the campaign. The man has never been in the Ukraine. No one in the intelligence community ever asked or tried to see if it was factual even though they had the report for months.

A week before his inauguration, the top intelligence chiefs met with Trump for the first combined "intelligence briefing." They brought this bogus document, research the Kremlin allegedly compiled, and briefed Trump on it, then someone leaked it to the press.

Mr. Trump said,

"It was disgraceful that the intelligence agencies allowed any information that turned out to be so false and fake out, I think it's a disgrace, and I say that, that that is something Nazi Germany would do."

The press, Buzzfeed and CNN, ran with the fake information on Trump. Trump called CNN and Buzzfeed "Fake News!"

The head of the CIA is being called out on why they got involved. John Brennan, Director of the CIA, was confronted on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace January 15th.

CIA Director Brennan - "It (the document) is not verified, it is unsubstantiated. Its out there, it has been circulating in the private sector, by a firm that pulled this information together."

Chris Wallace - "but agencies were not reporting it because it had not been verified.....Why on earth would the nation's intelligence spy chiefs brief President-elect Trump, in your first meeting collectively with him, on unverified information? First of all, it wasn't intelligence - it was rumors, and secondly, by briefing him on it, you made it a news event, and gave news organizations an excuse to report it!"

Brennan - "Bringing to the attention of the President-elect, as well as to the current President, that this information is circulating out there, was a responsibility in the minds of the intelligence directors, not that was an evaluation of it, but only to make him aware it was circulating."

Wallace - "Shouldn't that just have been passed to a staff member, not the President-elect?"

Leak after leak has happened from someone in the intelligence community on meetings with President-elect Trump, and somehow Russia stays at the top of every news broadcast. It is possible that intelligence officials are briefing the White House, and the Obama Administration is leaking it.

Putin is winning his propaganda war and getting exactly what he wanted. He is using his plants in the media and DC and possibly the CIA and FBI, playing Rep. John Lewis, the Democrats, and the media like a well-tuned fiddle.

President-elect Trump should put a priority on finding the leaks and the Russian operatives in our high level intelligence offices. The Democrats, and the media should be held accountable for assisting our enemy.
