Barton “Bart” Green graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1971. He was commissioned as a Line Officer in the U.S. Navy (regular), and was deployed twice from his home port of San Diego to Vietnam. He received an accelerated promotion, was a Pacific Fleet Surface Warfare Specialist, and served as an instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. After resigning his commission, he joined E.F. Hutton in 1975. He served as an investment advisor and a First Vice-President in Lincoln Nebraska before retiring in 2004. In Bart’s own words, he has a “Trophy wife, Pat, of 38 years, and three wonderful children. I am undeservedly blessed and honored.”
